premiere 5.5 intensity pro bug?

PostWed Sep 05, 2012 7:34 am

I have a problem with scopes in premiere 5.5
When i apply a color filter like curves the scopes dont work at all in a blackmagic sequence.
Premiere presets work fine though.
Any ideas? Is it a bug?
I tried 9.0 9.5.2 and 9.6.1 drivers because i work also With Media Composer 6.

Hi Komni,

I've loaded up a clip in Premiere CS5.5 in both a Blackmagic sequence and a DVCProHD sequence. After applying the same luma curve and RGB curve, what I've found is that in either sequence, the scopes all adjust according to the setting I apply. I will note that the DVCProHD sequence plays more smoothly after rendering the sequence (the Blackmagic sequence lags bit), but in terms of just viewing adjustments on the scopes, this appears to be working. This was on a Mac with Desktop Video 9.6.2 and Premiere CS5.5.

Are there any other details about your workflow that we might be overlooking?

Hi Sarah

Well i have this problem with a windows 7 PC with 9.1 & 9.5.3 drivers.
I made a new project and a new blackmagic sequence DSLR 1080p.
Then i imported some DSLR footage and the scopes worked.
But when i closed the project down restarded my computer
and reopened the same project, scopes were dead again.
i also tried an AVCHD sequence and an XDcam EX with the same results.

Maybe this should help !!!
