We have noticed, that Newtek tricaster (tested on couple different machines TC460, TC8000) may easily lockup OpenGear Audio to SDI converter card (tested on couple different cards, running latest FW 7.0.9) when starting show. SDI PGM output of the Tricaster was routed throw the embedder card.
Seems that Tricaster during show loading will change couple of times it's output video format and card will for about 50% probability lockup with this. When locked, card SDI indicator is lighting, but there is no SDI output of the card at all. Unplugging and plugging SDI input will recover card.
Anybody have noticed similar issue? Any solution for this?
We have in the past noticed some cases when Tricaster occasionally lockup Teranex converter, UpDownCross OpenGear cards, or even sometimes newer models of BMD video routers, but in this case it's almost every 2nd case it will start.
