Hey guys thought I'd share what I'm using as I find it quite an amazing set up. I never shoot Lossless, maximum I shoot is RAW 3:1 with my Ursa Mini 4K EF. So keep that in mind! I can edit my 4K RAW 3:1 footage with zero lag inside of Resolve 14 with my set up. No caching!

Timeline in 1920x1080 until delivery time
Macbook pro mid 2015 that you can only order online with the extra gpu thing. And make sure your footage is on a SSD not hard drive. Thats it literally. No lag. I got a 1TB SSD for 300 canadian dollars off amazon. Crucial SSD its called. 380 read/write speed i tested it at.
