Reslove 9 open beta asking for License Dongle

Hi,
With the impending delivery of the blackmagic cinema camera I decided to download the open beta of Resolve 9 so I can become familiar with the program. It downloaded and installed fine however ever time I launch the beta it says the dongle is missing.
Its an open beta right? why is it asking for a dongle?

OS: Win 7 Ultimate

Download Resolve 9 Lite instead. The "full" version requires a Dongle.
