UltraStudio 4k - full duplex I/O mapping

I am trying to figure out how to map the I/O's on my UltraStudio 4k. Media Express does not seem to be providing me with the needed options to do so. It is my understanding that the UltraStudio 4k is full duplex... do I need to map the channels through a third party software or should I be using Black Syphon? Any help and advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
