Please help!
Mini monitor appears to work great in multimedia express (the video, that is), but when I open a session in Pro Tools, the playback stutters and then stops completely with a Video Engine error within a few seconds. At that point, I can't play anymore and need to do a restart on my entire machine to try again.
In addition to the video stuttering, I'm getting awful audio distortion in Pro Tools and in Finder (when previewing a .wav file, for example).
I'm working with the following:
iMac 2011
OS X Yosemite 10.10.5
Thunderbolt>Mini Monitor>HDMI>Bravia TV
Pro Tools 11, running video at 23.976 fps, audio 48k
BM Drivers v10.9.5
In BM Desktop Video Setup: 1080p23.98 output, conversion HD>SD
Audio output set to an Apogee Quartet via USB, which then goes to stereo speakers
I've been browsing forums for a solution for many hours now. Any suggestions are warmly welcomed!
