Is anyone using a GoPro Hero 6? HEVC/H265

I'm very new to editing and it seems that DV doesn't like the codec. I need to convert my footage into H264 with the best quality there is. What software are you using for this? I've been advised to use Handbrake?

You need the Studio license to use H265 footage on Windows. If you want "best" quality I would use Dali Convert and export to ProRes/DNxHR.
