Where/What to download for latest H.264 Media Express?

PostThu Feb 01, 2018 2:34 pm

Is there a software update for the H.264 Pro Recorder? I can't seem to find anything named just "Media Express". Instead, I see a series of Desktop Video software updates but it's not clear if the "Media Express" mentioned in those release notes is also for the H.264 Pro Recorder.

We bought our H.264 Pro Recorder in August of 2016, and the Media Express software enclosed with it has not been updated since. We've started to have some issues with it crashing randomly (and thankfully rarely) the last few months. I'm wondering if some of the Windows 10 updates are the culprit and if a software update is available for Media Express that might help.

You don't need to ;look for updates for the H.264 Pro Recorder. If you unplug and then replug the unit in when powered, it will automatically look home for an update and then ask you if you wish to install it.
Blackmagic Teranex 2D, Ultrastudio Express, Intensity Shuttle (Thunderbolt), Two H.264 Pro Recorders (Mac OSX) & lots of old VTRs used for digital archiving of legacy video formats for major libraries, broadcasters, universities and public archives.

Thank you. I was not positive because most of the release notes info seems to talk about other devices and not specifically the H.264 Pro Recorder.
