Hey all, I just bought a brand new micro HDMI to SDI converter. When I plug it into my USB port the light comes on but it the setup (v 7.1.1) says " "No converter found." I've tested it in multiple USB ports on a PowerBook Pro and a Mac Pro. I have no issues contacting other Blackmagic products such as cameras using the same USB ports. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything obvious before I returned it.

I am seeing the same issue on my Mac. I have version 7.3 of the Black Magic Convertor Setup util.

I have used the HDMI to SDI micro convertor and it works. I wanted to try tweaking some setting, but I always see "no convertor found". My micro convertor is connect to the mac via micro usb.

Any hints appreciated.

Not sure what settings you want to tweak.. It isn't like the mini converters that it has a lot of settings.. The micro Hdmi to SDI only has a selection for Level A / B output on sdi.. if i remember correctly..
