Hi!

Im looking into working with chroma key in a studio setting and a have found a ursa 4k mark 1 for a decent price and I like the thought to experiment with chroma - slow motion.

I can´t afford going down the path with expensive cfast 2.0 cards.
Is there is a capture card that can capture uhf raw slow motion 80-120fps?

I can get a blackmagic decklink studio 4k , but that can´t capture 4k uhd slomo right?

Kindest regards

The Ursa mini 4k can only do 60fps in UHD.

Cheers

Robert

Edit:

Didn't see that you are referring to the Ursa V1. This camera can do max 80fps ideed.

And no.. There is no card that can capture beyond the SMPTE standard.. So everything above 60 is a no go..

I believe the SDI output of that camera is 12G which is going to be limited to 4k60 anyhow. If you want inexpensive look into Cfast to SSD solutions. I've seen a couple reviews for a CCTech box that looks pretty nice, you may need something with longer cables for the big Ursa.

12G should be enough to pass 3:1 RAW 80fps or even 12fps, but this is different story.

Hi. Ok so 60fps sound like an option.

I stumbled upon a cheep cfast card on aliexpress btw called golden disc, gonna check it out. About 128gb for 100$. Gonna dig deeper. Thanks for the help, im gonna look further into the cfast to ssd option. Cheers
