MiniConverter SDI 2 HDMI 6G LUT Issue

PostThu Apr 05, 2018 8:18 am

Hi, I've a Monitor-LUT which I used in Resolve and everything is fine. But when I use the very same LUT via SDI Loopback on a MiniConverter SDI 2 HDMI 6G the result is different. Specially in the lower parts of the Signal. And yes, i switched off the Resolve LUT when using the MiniConverter.

I use not the HDMI port, only the SDI ones. Signal path is clean.
The "Clip video output to legal" in Converter Setup is unchecked, but it also makes no difference.

Please see the attached waveform:

any Ideas why the same LUT is treated different?

EDIT: Resolve is set to video levels. Setting Resolve to data levels is not a solution = white 110%, black well below 0%.
