Slip function

PostMon Apr 16, 2018 6:48 am

I am a new user who needed a video editing program for a single project which involved reducing many hours of video to a set of short clips for upload to YouTube. I had no previous experience but by trial and error managed to do this. Unfortunately, the synchronisation between audio and visual has come adrift for several of these clips; quite likely this happened in the camera. So, I figure our that I need to use the slip audio function to tidy this up. When I go to the trim menu - slip audio - the options for whole frame forward or back are greyed out. The options for 1/10th frame increments was live but I wasn't able to observe that using this achieved anything. The video/audio sync is important because it is a learning tool for choreography which must match the music. Would appreciate any advice please. Jaznjjj
