Unable to flip in timeline

I want to flip a clip by 180 degrees.
I have tried the following two methods:
1) In Edit Panel: Select the clip in timeline -> Inspector -> Flip
2) In Color Panel: Select the clip in timeline -> Sizing Menu -> Flip
In both the above cases, the clip in the top section flips but not in the timeline.
Can someone please help to flip the clip such that it is flipped in the timeline as well?
