Mini Monitor 10bit not working

Hi,

I have a pretty new Mini Monitor 4K PCIe and an Eizo CG247x. I just tested a gradient I created in Photoshop and saved it as a TIFF: I get banding on my Eizo.

I though the Mini Monitor supports 10bit? The Eizo surly does.

Under Video Monitoring --> Video bit depth is set to 10bit.

Any ideas or solutions?

Looks like card and monitor establish connection over 8bit pixel format.
Do you have 444 selected or not?

Do you mean selected in Desktop Video Setup? There I only see an option for SDI as well as in Resolve. The Eizo is connected over HDMI.

But I think the problem is just with the Mini Monitor 4K for Mac? Does this apply to the PCIe verion for PC as well?

In the LGG thread there are quite a few people saying that 10bit works over HDMI on the MM4K...

I'm confused..

Update:

In the Optional Setting in Eizo I just changed to HDMI Video instead of PC. This should suppoer YUV...doesn't change anything.

Could it be the cable or the Dekstop Video Setup Settings?

I tied switching on 4:4:4 over SDI (which doesn't make sense) but it does the trick and I get 10bit over HDMI
