Ultrastudio Mini Monitor and thunderbolt 3

Hello, I'm currently using a Ultrastudio Mini Monitor on Macbook air with Thunderbot 2 cable, every thing is functional except Macbook air is getting old.
Now I'm considering new notebook such as Dell XPS 13/Macbook pro 13/Thnkpad X1 carbon. Problem is they all equip with Thunderbolt 3, does anybody have experience on thunderbolt 3 to 2 adaptor with blackmagic product?

Don't know about the Dell, but I'm on a new iMac with TB3 using TB3 to TB2 adapter to Mini Monitor. Works fine.

I'm using the CabbleMatters Thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter with MiniMonitor, have had no trouble (OK, Now I have but it not because this adapter for sure)
