Sorry for the stupid question.

The intensity pro usb, is it suitable to playback from resolve to an external monitor in hd via hdmi?

I don't have it so i cannot test it out RTFM.

Thanks

Well it should. It's the same BM SDK, so Resolve should see it. Problem is that BM products over USB always been problematic- motherboard/USB chip sensitive.

Depends on the PC,...

Search my posts to see the saga I had getting my Intensity Shuttle USB3 to work.

Current M/boards with USB3 chips, instead of any kind of add-on card, 'should' do your HD playback from Resolve.

Resolve will also down convert 4K for the Shuttle to play in HD.

If your PC has a charge/powered USB3 (They're yellow instead of blue sockets) use that instead of the normal ones, as they pass more power through to the shuttle. In my experience, it needs more juice then some PC deliver in the usual USB ports.
