Composite(PS2) doesn't work/Blackmagick Intensity Shuttle-th

PostWed May 23, 2018 4:34 pm

Hi everyone !

Sorry in advance for my english, i'm french !

I searched a solution on the forum but i didn't find my answer.

I just received a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle (thunderbolt) and i tried to record the signal of my Playstation 2, but it doesn't work. Maybe my settings are wrong...

In Desktop Video Setup :
- input : Composite
- output : 625pPAL

In Blackmagic Media express :
- project video format : PAL

Of course my PS2 is plug with composite cable into "video in", but i have a black scrren on Blackmagic Media Express... I'm on it since 3h, so desperate ! :x

Thank you all, i hope i'll find a solution.

Have you set input to Composite in blackmagic settings in control panel?

Yep !

But it works now. I think it's a format problem or something like that.

I changed "input conversion" on "sd to hd" and now it's work. I don't understand why... !

Composite is a SD only video signal, so setting the convert from HD to SD changes the output signal to SD.
