This is a bit of a stab in the dark, but wondering if it is possible to use a Decklink 8k Pro, as a 4 x HD capture card, Ala a Decklink Quad?

I thought it was maybe a maybe, and hey, no harm asking :-)

I need a 4 x Input card for a live stream I need to do, and if possible, I'd rather buy the 8k Pro, so I can also have the 12bit 444 Output in 4k DCP.

The only post I could see on the matter seemed to indicate that it WAS possible:

The Decklink 8K Pro offers 4 independent 12G-sdi in or outputs or a mix of those. So you can configure it into 2x in 2x out or a different configuration.

So you can use this card for Vmix or other software as 3 Channels input and 1 output. Or 4 channel ISO recorder. Or whatever your software does support. :)

Can someone from BMD please confirm?

Thanks.

Thanks Gary.

NB - It would be a great feature!
