Mini Converter - SDI to Audio

I'm using the Mini Converter SDI to Audio to extract 4 audio channels from a single SDI feed in, but can only get the signal out on 2 of the 4 channels available. So far I've tinkered with the mini switches on the side and have 8, 6 and 5 in the off position. All I seem to be able to achieve is stereo audio on output 1 and 2, but nothing on channels 3 and 4. Switching either 5 and 6 kills the audio on 1+2 and I still get nothing from 3+4.
Am I missing something crucial?
I've downloaded Blackmagic Converter Utility and tried changing the output levels on 3 + 4, but still no audio joy.
Any help, advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
