Searchable video content

PostMon Jul 23, 2018 12:33 am

The project is to create a video based resource for researchers...

We are looking for a video + app system which allows us to create content that is organized much like a library, with Volume/Chapter/Paragraph searching where each paragraph is a short video clip.

Are there applications which can access a collection of video files and the time index within the video to quickly find content? I expect that each clip will require some associated metadata or keywords manually added to allow searching.

Is there any way within the Resolve application that metadata can be added to a clip?

Any help appreciated!

Maybe look at CatDV from http://www.squarebox.com. There are several editions available.

We use CatDV for asset management. If people are good about adding metadata it's very useful.
