Wacky colours on MacBook Pro with Resolve 9 Not Beta

PostSat Sep 08, 2012 6:09 am

I have problems when playing back and rendering R3D files on my MacBook Pro 17" (2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 8 GB 1333 DDR3 500GB SSD running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4), I get really wacky colours on high and low luminance areas. I am surprised that this is no longer a Beta version of the app and that BlackMagic has pulled out earlier versions of resolve from their website, when this software still has bugs like this one. Is anyone else having this problem? Will there be a solution to this? Please do share.

I am guessing this is due to the AMD Radeon HD 6770M 1024 MB Video Card.

Please UPDATE sooon

Thanks

This sounds like a known OS and GPU issue and you can solve it with an upgrade to 10.8. It's not specific to Resolve.
