Hi All,

I tried to upgrade my Media Composer to the latest 2018.7.1, but It won't recognized my UltraStudio 4K.
I downgraded MC back to 2018.5 and it sees my card again.

I'm on an iMac running 10.11.6 32GB Ram
Desktop Video Version 10.10. I did try 10.11, but nothing changed.

The folks at Avid said to check with the Blackmagic folks. Any idea?

Upgraded to High Sierra 10.13.6, Avid MC 2018.7.1 and BM 10.11.1

I had some fun and games with the Avid output - sometimes the BM driver thought I was outputting 3D, when I plainly wasn't. Switching through the formats seemed to sort it.

You don't necessary want latest drivers at all. Use ones which are specified in AVID info/guide.
This is ALWAYS an issue when parts come from different manufactures.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm gonna wait until an updated version of MC comes out. It seems this version was pretty buggy for everyone on a bunch of fronts.
