Exporting RAW Files To Premiere Pro

PostMon Aug 27, 2018 3:28 pm

Hello,

I am having trouble with my RAW files I'm pulling off of my DJI Zenmuse X5R camera. I would like to color grade and color correct in premiere pro with the rest of my project so everything is in one place, but I can't seem to figure out how to export the files as RAW files from Divinci Resolve 15 to Premiere Pro. I have just been using Premiere Pro XML file in the Delivery tab and leaving the resolution at "custom source resolution" or whatever it's called.

That won't work, you'll need to use a high quality intermediate, like ProRes 4444 on the Mac or DNxHR 444 or Cineform 16 bit on the PC. Premiere doesn't accept compressed DNG anyway, in case the DJI delivers that.

But why you want to go to Premiere at all? Color correction in Resolve is so superior anyway. Why not go the other way, export your project to Resolve and do it all there?
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
