Hi!
I am begginer at compositing. Yesterday i was watching some tutorials on youtube and came across this one:
[apparently I'm not allowed to post links, the title of the Video is "CGI Compositing - Working with Different Colour Spaces"]
Guy is chaning the color space of the footage, by reversing the ton mapping and gamma correction so he can work in linear color space, his exr is already linear. Then he apply LUT to his viewer so everything looks normal.
I on the other hand, while combining those things would just put Gamut on my render with sRGB so everything looks corretly, but is it correctly?
Can someone explain the differences between those workflows and tell which one is correct?
Thanks!
