On proxies created in Adobe Premiere

PostSun Sep 02, 2018 5:18 pm

Okay, SO, my DP created proxies for the (r3d) footage in Premiere. They're awesome and have the sound linked into them. Originally, I was going to edit in Premiere as well, but decided to do the entire edit in Da Vinci because Premiere is not-so-much-fun to edit in.

My question is: is there any way to edit using the previous created proxy files (they're in MP4 format) and link them back to the original r3d files for rendering or do I have to start from scratch, which would mean re-linking all my sound files in Da Vinci?

Help!
