Hardware calibration and reference monitor
Posted: Sun Sep 23, 2018 8:13 pmI have a BenQ SW2700PT that has a hardware calibration feature (14 bits 3D LUT). I don't actually use the feature anymore since the calibration program gave very inconsistent results but in principal, is the hardware calibration sufficient if I use the screen as reference monitor? Or do I still need to create an additional 3D LUT for the monitor that I need to activate in Resolve's Color Management settings when the monitor is connected via Decklink Mini Monitor?
