Basically, with a 24p HD sequence, playback works fine for a few minutes and then the Decklink output freezes. Soon after that, Premiere will lock up entirely.
When the DeckLink SDI freezes I can still reposition the playhead anywhere in the timeline which updates the image in Premiere's program Monitor, but the original frozen frame remains on the DeckLink output. I also can't play video. Spacebar playback will not work. Sometimes I can hear the audio playing. Media files are 10-bit and 8-bit from GH5.
Once the Decklink output locks up I can still save the project, but Premiere will not shut down gracefully. Task manager > end task will close some Premiere threads, but one premiere.exe task always remains. Even shutting down Windows will not clear the freeze frame on the DeckLink output. The only way is to reboot using the PC's reset button or cycling the power supply.
I can't see any unusual CPU/Memory activity in in Task Manager.
If I disable the DeckLink in Preferences/Playback, Premiere works great.
I've tried 10.11.2 and 10.11.4 Desktop Video installations. I have a support ticket open with BMD.
