Activation is required?

Happy New Year, folks!
I'm very excited to join the Blackmagic community today and to start comparing DaVinci Resolve with FCPx. My first question is, after installation I'm getting hounded by a window telling me that Activation is required for the Creative FX Collection Plus product. I'm assuming that's a plug-in. That window has three buttons Try, Quit and Activate. I don't really want to Try it now, I want to learn Resolve. But the Quit button doesn't seem to do anything. The window just keeps popping up again, over and over. If I Try it now, how long does that trial period last? (This is a poor initial experience, just FYI for you designers...)
