Running Multiple DeckLink Mini Recorder 4k

PostMon Jan 07, 2019 2:52 am

Is it possible to run more than 1 DeckLink Mini Recorder 4k card in a single PC? I want to capture video 2 or 3 HDMI video feeds from different sources. Since each DeckLink Mini Recorder 4k card can capture the feed from one source, can multiple cards be installed and used to capture video feeds from several sources? If running multiple DeckLink Cards is not possible, what other options are available?

All of the feeds will be using the HDMI connector, using SDI connectors is not an option in this setup.

Best Regards,
Don

Yes this will work. But media express only supports 1 at a time. So you will need some software like OBS or Vmix to handle multiple recordings. Also sources may not contain HDCP protection, this will block your HDMI feed to black.
