Hi. We have for quite a while seen issues with flashing thumbnails and waveforms in the timeline in Adobe Premiere Pro 2017 and 2018, and now it seems even worse in Premiere Pro 2019. Alt+tab/cmd+tab to an other application fixes the issue temporarily, but the problem comes back. It is hard to say what could be triggering it.
There was a note in the release notes for Blackmagic Desktop Video 10.11.2 about this specifically. See attached screenshot.
There are a lot of people having issues with this, as you can see in this forum thread over at the Adobe forums: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2422634
Any ideas about what the root cause here could be? Is this an Adobe issue or a Blackmagic issue?
