shutting off TC on LCD of Teranex

is there a way to shut off the timecode display on the LCD of a Teranex?

What are you trying to gain by it when it's not on the display? The image wont get bigger..
Got an Teranex AV myself.. Not sure which you got.

I don't know of a way to do this, but if we're in a dark room and readouts bother us from rack gear, we cut little squares of cardboard and stick them (temporarily or permanently) on the little displays. Not very high-tech, but it works.
