Can anyone point me in the right direction:
I have a Win 10 Pro workstation used for running Resolve. See specs in my signature.
I want to add a color reference monitor, a simple BENQ SW271, which is a 4K 10 Bit HDMI, IPS monitor.
I plan to install a Decklink Mini monitor 4K card in my pc, and via HDMI connect this card to this BENq monitor.
My question: Do I need to install the "drivers" for the windows that came with the monitor on a CD?
I assume I need to install the Latest Desktop Video app as well. Given that the Decklink mini-monitor connects the PC to the monitor, and that the Decklink does the communication between the PC and the montior, can I omit install the monitors software?
Or perhaps I should (to get other apps, e.g. calibration control, etc.)
Any experience and input is appreciated.
