Media Express / Intensity Shuttle capture limitations?

PostThu Apr 18, 2019 6:53 pm

Hello there,

I am new to Blackmagic capture cards, and am using an Intensity Shuttle to capture feedback from my Panasonic WJ-MX50 mixer.

I am able to successfully capture the material in Media Express but after I record eight minutes or so of footage (really any length) and stop capturing, the resulting footage always ends up being 3:21 long (4.28GB). I have never seen this before.

I am recording onto a SD card that has plenty of room on it (at least 30GB free).

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks!

John

Your card is most likely FAT32 formatted which does't support files bigger than around 4GB.
Format card as ExFat or other files system which supports big file sizes.
