Hey hey,
Currently working on a PC build and am coming from Mac OS whereby I have an AMD wx9100 in an egpu. The PC build I"m using is going to be on 2 RTX 2080 ti and so I don't have the 10bit abilities that the PRO line with AMD and the Quadro line with NVIDIA offer.
Naturally I'm looking at the Decklink series, but I don't quite understand why things like supported codecs are listed. This leads me to believe that I won't be able to display video other than what is supported? My question essentially is -
Will I be able to use the decklink mini monitor 4k for example, as an output device to my 4k monitor for functions other than playback in Resolve with supported codecs? For example - can I play R3D footage? Can I see my desktop? Or will there only be a display signal within supported apps and when they play supported footage?
