Temporal NR Warping Footage

PostThu May 09, 2019 3:27 am

Has anyone else experienced this?

Just ran into this issue that I haven't ever seen. I'm filmed a performance on stage, so there is a static backdrop and quick movement on stage. For some reason the background behind the performers is being warped after a subtle Temporal NR is applied.

I'm working in DaVinci Resolve 16 Beta.
Ungraded Prores footage doesn't have the warping issue.

How many frames of Temporal averaging frames have you selected? With 2 or 3 selected, you should not see any artifacts.

Thanks for verifying that for me, Marc. That's what I eventually figure out. Was playing a little fast and loosing with the settings initially.
