Intensity Shuttle, which cameras?

PostWed Jul 17, 2019 8:29 pm

I just got an Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt. I'll be doing some interviews and motorcycle riding footage. It has worked well with Panasonic HDC-SD5 and a Panasonic HDC-SD9. They output through HDMI. BlackMagic Media Express preferences set at 1080i59.94, outputting to ProRes 422LT.
The Shuttle isn't working with:
Canon EOS 6D MkII. 1080P60.
a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS6. 1080P60.
Olympus Tough, Stylus TG Tracker.
I haven't tried it with my Kodak PlaySport.

The Intensity seems to have the frame rates and interlacing or progressive settings so it has less utility than I thought it would have as a "HDMI" capture interface. Other than using it on my Panasonic HDC cams, is there a solution to let the Intensity add 1080 P capturing?

Regards,
William Gorry

The intensity shuttle is NOT compatible with 1080P50/59/60 sources!! Set the camera to a lower resolution or get yourself a different capture device that will capture 1080P50/59/60
