I am editing 3 different angles in Multicam and it is SO SLOW and painful. It is basically uneditable.
I am using Version 16 Beta.

These are my laptop stats:
Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-8850H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
Installed Memory: 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Are there any settings or tips and tricks someone can offer me? This is very difficult to use.
Thanks in advance!

I received a tip to Optimize my videos, granted they took an hour to do so, but I also unchecked 'Show All Video Frames' and the Timeline moved faster in Multicam!!!

There are the workarounds stated above, which I have used or was in fact using. If your Scracth Disk is running thin on space, THAT could be a problem. For me it was a problem, then I solved it the fastest way I could figure out without spending any money. My Scratch disk is a USB3.1 Gen 2 RAID 0 of 2 WD SSD 2TB = 4TB, then I had less space giving it a larger provisioning % of 20% IIRC. The RAID was like 7/8+/- full. I went through every project I could dump Cache and Optimized Media, then had Windows compress the space. It took 2 days, yes 2. I ended up with little more than 3/4 full, a touch above 3 TB. There has been noticable inprovement but it is Temporary till I get more projects off of the DAS.

I guess you can never have too much ammo, cache space, happiness, among other things.
