Resolve to Adobe After Effects Compositing workflow

PostSat Sep 07, 2019 3:13 am

Hey All,

I'm new to Resolve by a couple of months and I've nearly transitioned my editing workflow from Premiere. I still haven't gotten a full assessment of Fusion in addition to the learning curve. So I'm searching for a workflow solution to bring graded edits with some added head/tail into After Effects for compositing. I think that single clip export could work well for this, but I'm still green so it's difficult to know the possibilities. I've searched google, youtube, and the forum without any leads.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to move from Resolve into AE? A total workflow or small tips are helpful.

Thanks in advance for your help!

That's terrific, thank you!

Have there been any more updates to Resolve that could improve this workflow? He just touched on rendering out the source media resolution which would be ideal.

I don't think there's anything new, BM is just working on integrating Fusion into Resolve.
