Fix recording glitch - BMPPC 4k
Posted: Wed Sep 11, 2019 1:11 amDoes anyone know how to fix/bandaid footage that dropped frames during recording? I have a video project I’m working on that fairly regularly screwed up while recording. It appears like the camera got behind while writing to the SSD because it freezes for 2 or 3 frames and then jumps forward. This happened on multiple angles.
I am looking for any help possible.
Recording details:
* BMPCC 4k
* Samsung t5 1TB
* 4096x2160
* 24fps
* Apple ProRes 422, Linear PCM
Equipment was rented from borrowlenses.com
I have two main questions:
1. Is it possible to bandaid this error for this project so it is barely noticeable if invisible?
2. How does this happen? How can I avoid it in the future?
PS: I am uploading a short clip that includes some of the errors. I will edit this post when it finishes uploading.
