ATI Radeon 5770 doesn't show up

PostFri Sep 14, 2012 5:30 pm

Hi,

I've a ATI Radeon 5770 (GUI) and a Quadro 4000 in my Mac Pro (Mid 2012, 12 Core, 24 GB RAM,
Mac OSX 10.7.4). In DaVinci Resolve (9, Release) the preferences doesn't show the 5770, just the
Quadro 4000 as GPU1. The GUI monitor works well and in the hardware inspector of Mac OSX
the 5770 also shows up normal.

So is this a normal behaviour, are there any performance downsides if it doesn't show up?

Best regards,
Gerhard

ATI is not GPU capable, just GUI.

Actually, the System Overview area in the Preferences area should show the 5770 card being used as a GUI card. The fact the 5770 card is not shown in the System Overview area at all is apparently a bug. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release.
