I've recently purchased a new 2017 iMac with 4.2GHz i7 Processor and Radeon Pro 580 8192 Mb Graphics card. I'm running OS Siera 10.12.6. When I start up the computer a NVIDIA Cuda window comes up saying "No GPU Detected." When I open DaVinci Resolve 14 a window comes up saying "No Cuda acceleration hardware detected." Every time I try to open Resolve it crashes. I have the latest version of DaVinci Resolve 14, installed last Wednesday. I have downloaded and re installed both the latest Cuda driver and DaVinci to no avail. Has anyone experienced this problem and has anyone got a solution? I would very much appreciate some help! Thanks in advance. Murray Savidan
The solution for me was provided by BlackMagic support. When the projects window opened, instead of trying to open a project I pressed the command and the comma key together. That brought up DaVinci preferences. In Hardware Configurations I changed the GPU Processing Mode to OpenCl. Problem solved! Murray Savidan
