random one frame from a clip out of place

PostSun Jul 09, 2017 2:50 pm

I have been having instances where seemingly at random one frame from a clip, typically when placed in the timeline, will appear out of place. For instance, if someone is running, one frame of them running at a later point in the clip will appear earlier than it should, that frame is not missing from where it is meant to be, and it can be cut from the clip. Furthermore, I have found that this problem does not appear right away, I have only seen this upon reviewing my editing.

I'm having the very same issue with version 14.0.0b.020. Have you solved it?

I have had this happen to me, and just tested it in 14.0.0B.051 / Beta 6, and this still happens.

I am on Windows 10, the video file is an mp4 file, with H264 MPEG-4 AVC (part 10)(avc 1)

This issue was not present in 12.5.5

I installed 14b6 and it kept crashing so I uninstalled and installed 12.5.6, install says to was successful. Version 12.5.6 would not run at all, no messages, just did not start. I'm using Windows 10 (latest),GTX 1080 . Can anyone suggest what I can try to get 12.5.6 up and running.

Run C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\CaptureLogs.bat and post the resulting zip file on a file sharing site and post a link to the file here.

This problem still persist in beta 7.

I just installed the one released now. Imported the projected, and still experience random frames being in the wrong place when playing the timeline.
