DR14b5 - Generators only - color tab trouble

PostWed Jul 19, 2017 3:25 pm

I make each color ramps using four color gradient, for experiment purpose in Edit tab, but after switching to Color Tab, I can't do editing or control anything... and going back to edit tab, the playhead jumps far away.

Additional info:

Need to put at least 1 clip (in this case, a PNG image), and finally able to access Color tab.

Make the generators into Compound Clips.

Is that just a workaround, or does that mean the observed results are as designed?

If you want to see the generators on the color page timeline, and be able to grade them, they need to be compound clips.

Thanks, learn something new today...
I'm just want to do observation regarding to color ramp of each color, render it, put back, and look at the Video Scopes only.
And you are correct that the generated media is 'missing' unless I put it as compound clip.
