I installed Resolve 14 and have only worked with 1-2 projects (both using 4K UHD video and reasonably high-res stills. Resolve has been crashing since the get-go. Uninstalled & reinstalled once to no avail.
When it started, it seemed only to crash when I was doing a media import. Now, it doesn't even fully load the project file before it crashes. And since my preferences are set to "Open last project" - it blows up on start, never giving me a chance to do anything at all before it's generating an error dialogue.
System = ASRock X370 Taichi, 64GB of GSkill Fortis 2400 DDR4 RAM, EVGA 1080TI SC Black edition video card, 2 Sandisk 980GB Extreme Pro SSDs, OCZ-VERTEX3 120GB SSD (OS drive), HT OMega Fenix sound card, and an EVGA 850-GR Gold power supply.
The system is pretty much dedicated to Resolve, although Affinity Photo and Fusion 9 are also loaded. Fusion hasn't even been started up yet.
