Color Page suggestions

PostMon May 28, 2018 2:31 am

On the Color page >

1) If one moves the TimeLine PlayHead, the PlayHead should also stay centered in the Keyframes panel - and have the keyframe background move...

2) If I have the MainViewer set to SourceFrames (bottom right corner), I would like to see the same value being shown in the Keyframes panel...

3) In the Keyframes panel, I currently have 9 Correctors. There are 5 PowerWindows (each in a Serial Node) being repostioned over the License Plate of 5 cars that are moving. A Blur is applied - ranging from 50 to 63 units.

If I have Node 7 active, when I go Prev-[ or Next-] Keyframe, I ONLY want to hit on the '48' keyframes sitting in Corrector 7. Currently the KeyFrame PlayHead hits the '132' Keyframes - sitting on all Correctors... :(

This means I've had to hit (132-48)=84 extra and useless keypresses...

Why do you have so many keyframe timeline keyframes?
Are you using the tracker and adjusting window position there?

Peter,

I just manually positioned and resized the tiny power-windows, by hand, moving 4-5 frames before making another adjustment. Blur was increased as the plates came closer to the camera. Keyframes were also placed on either side of the overhead steel Lane Markers - so that the Blur could be turned OFF - as the cars passed underneath.

It all turned out fine - currently doing a final render.

Speaking of which - when doing a render on the Render Page - perhaps to automatically turn off the slow moving Render Cache process - back on the Color Page (which doesn't need to be updated anymore). Just an idea and I think that is what is happening...

Could be wrong... :)

Have a look in the manual for details on the tracker and moving the window in frame mode. Its a lot more pleasant experience.
