Data burn in issue with beta 3

PostTue May 22, 2018 4:05 pm

Activating the data burn-in on the deliver page causes the monitor to go blank...

I reported this a while back. Unfortunately Blackmagic is not able to replicate on their end. I suspect the culprit might be with recent Nvidia drivers. When I went back to an older driver version the issue went away.

Check your drivers and see if going back a few versions fixes it for you.

I can't duplicate this in 15b5 on Windows 10 Pro (1709) using nVidia driver 398.11. The feature works fine.

what an odd version number. In my device drive panel for the driver it gives the version as 23.21.13.9135

can you post a snapshot of the device driver properties in your PC for comparison?

That translates to driver version 391.35.

You're behind a bit.

I'm on 15.5b and can't replicate the issue. Data Burn in working as expected. I'm on a slightly older Nvidia driver (388.13) so maybe its an issue with later drivers?

do you have an older driver you can try with?

Does beta 6 fix the issue? Are you using Dual Screen mode?

Burn-in works fine on Beta 6 for me. (But then it also worked fine on the earlier betas as well.)

We are working on a fix. Try enabling the scopes. That should work around the issue for now.
