Fairlight Mixer Tracks

PostThu Oct 03, 2019 10:28 pm

Going through the tutorial for the 2nd half of Fairlight for the second time, I noticed that tracks in the mixer don't all show. This screen grab shows A1, A3 and A6 (plus M1) active on the Mixer. The index shows that they are all visible. Toggling visibility in the index off then back on brings the tracks back to the mixer.

Hey! I was having exactly the same issue. I thought I was crazy, looked through every possible setting.
Thanks for the "toggling visibility" idea - totally worked.

Brilliant!!! Thanks for this :)

Just ran into this while following along with some Ripple Fairlight Training. I was wondering why in the training the mixer only showed a few of the tracks (and why the two tracks I needed for the tutorial were missing).

1. Open Index > Tracks panel
2. Toggle visibility (I found that you can drag across the visibility icon to toggle all but one) - You can't hide all tracks (one must be visible) so once they are all on again just toggle the one you didn't change yet from off to on.
3. With them all visible now, you should see all the tracks in the mixer
4. Now as you hide individual tracks in the Index > Tracks panel you will see them hide in the Mixer panel as well...
