Hi,
I have Resolve Studio 16.1 and have a problem with the dark User Interface from the very beginning working with Resolve.
Now, I noticed in the Resolve Training that it could be changed in an easy to read one.
I didn't find any hint in the 3100 Pages of the Reference Manual how to achive this.
Or insn't it not possible in Windows Systems ?

Pls. help.

Seems that nobody but me has a problem with the DR User Interface.
But there is some guy in the Resolve Training who set up the Resolve UI in the way I attached in the previous post - so there must be a way in doing this !

Or is it still a unannounced function ?

Hi Juergen, all I can say is that the screenshots you posted are taken on a Mac system, and looking at your signature it seems that you're running on Windows...

Yes that light grey menu is how the Mac OS handles application menus.

Cosmin & Spencer,
thank you for your reply - agree.
Seems like the Mac is the development platform and the Windows user are getting all later.

I think I must buy new glasses - cannot wait that it comes to Windows.

I don't think that grey bar will come to Windows. It's how MacOS has handled application menus for many years now. One thing that isn't working properly in Resolve on Windows is Windows Display Scaling on UHD monitors. It seems setting Display Scaling to 150% sets Resolve to 200%, and setting to 125% sets Resolve to 100%. Some users have complained about this here on the forums as it's either too small or too big. You could try increasing your scaling though to make it easier on your eyes.

Hi Spencer,
I am already on 200% with my two High DPI Monitors and have still problems with the readability of Resolve's dark User Interface.
My biggest problem is the colour and size which is static and not configurable.

This is the case as well e.g. for Disk Speed Test, BRAW Speed Test etc.
But for these App's there is a High DPI override by windows which does not function for Resolve.

Are you sure it's not just whatever windows OS theme you have enabled at the moment? Try a different one.
MBP2021 M1 Max 64GB, macOS 14.4, Resolve Studio 18.6.6 build 7
Output: UltraStudio 4K Mini, Desktop Video 12.7
