DaVinci Resolve 15 Beta 5 - Crash

PostFri Jun 15, 2018 10:04 am

1) I have a clip of some sea wave action and am going for a psyncedelic effect
2) I apply OFX 'Edge Detection'
3) I apply OFX 'Lens Reflections'
4) If I move the timeline cursor with the mouse everything seems to work
5) If I play the clip (or render the clip) the application goes for a few seconds and then abruptly exits with no warning of failure.

System: Windows 10, i7-8700K, 32Gb memory, Nvidia GeForce 1070

FYI: I've been playing around a bit more. I tried 'Light rays' and a few other effects; they all seemed to work.
If I go back to 'Light Reflections' it crashes. Hope this helps.

Hi Bruce

As Hartmut observes, getting the diagnostic logs from the Resolve help menu and posting a link to the upload would help. Could you also include screengrabs of the issues you see?

Thanks
Shrinivas
