For a single still where the intent is to do pan and scan VFx Connect does not offer Use Source Media.
Instead it it thinks the single still is a series and wants to convert it into a series of stills matching the length of the clip in the timeline. Clearly this is unnecessary and the 'hit cancel on render' trick doesn't work.
